Looks like the wait for the new OnePlus smartphones could soon be over. And, what's better? The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is likely to launch three smartphones this year, instead of two just like every other. The company has already confirmed that it would be launching its 5G device in 2019. And, now a leak suggests that OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro might also be launched globally on May 14. The information was shared by tech leaker Ishan Agarwal who tweeted that exactly one month is left for the unveiling of OnePlus' 'flagship killer'.
"Okay, so I'm gonna stop with the estimations and give you all what you want. I can confirm that #OnePlus7 Series is launching globally on "14th May" 2019! Exactly 1 month left for #OnePlus' Flagship Killer to be revealed! According to earlier leak: #GoBeyondSpeed! #OnePlus7Pro," he tweeted.
This comes a week after OnePlus 7 Pro pictures were leaked. The images showed the smartphone from all angles. It seems to have a pop-up selfie camera on the front and triple cameras on the back panel. The same features are expected to be present on the standard OnePlus 7 model too. However, the placement of the pop-up selfie camera on OnePlus would be different from that of Vivo V15 Pro or Oppo F11 Pro. It will sit on the top left edge of the phone. This also confirms that there will be no notch on the OnePlus 7 series.

The devices are expected to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 chipset which also powered the Samsung S10 series. The OnePlus 7 Pro will have 45MP + 16MP + 8MP camera configuration and sport super optic 6.67-inch display. The front camera details are yet to be revealed. The device would be available in 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It would run Android 9 Pie based on the latest Oxygen OS. The leaks also suggest that OnePlus 7 will launch in three variants: GM1901, GM1903, GM1905, while the OnePlus 7 Pro will launch in four variants: GM1911, GM1913, GM1915, and GM1917.
OnePlus is yet to officially confirm the launch date of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro.
