The much-awaited OnePlus 7 series - OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro - was launched on Tuesday evening at three simultaneous events in Bengaluru, London, and New York. While OnePlus 7 is the more affordable option, OnePlus 7 is now the Chinese smartphone manufacturer's most expensive phone till date. With OnePlus 7 Pro, the company offers a QHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It also has the largest battery on an OnePlus device so far with a 4,000mAh capacity, and the most RAM, with 12GB. The smartphone also sports a pop-up selfie camera and will be available in Almond, Mirror Grey, and Nebula Blue colour options. Meanwhile, OnePlus maintains a full-HD+ display, and features a waterdrop-shaped display notch just like the OnePlus 6T. It offers a maximum of 8GB RAM and is powered by the flagship-grade Snapdragon 855 SoC.

OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro prices in India

OnePlus has done a good job to keep the price of OnePlus 7 under check. The OnePlus 7 price in India starts at Rs 32,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant, going up to Rs 37,999 for the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant. The 6GB RAM variant will only be available in a Mirror Grey colour variant, while the 8GB RAM variant will be available in both Mirror Grey and Red colour variants.

The price of OnePlus 7 Pro in India starts at Rs 48,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant (Mirror Grey only) going up to Rs 57,999 for the 12GB RAM/ 256GB variant (Nebula Blue only), making it the most expensive OnePlus smartphone in India. There is a third variant too which comes with 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage and would cost Rs 52,999. It is available in all three colour variants.

OnePlus runs OxygenOS based on Android 9.0 Pie and comes with a 6.41-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) Optic AMOLED display. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. OnePlus 7 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, coupled with the Adreno 640 GPU and up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It features a dual rear camera setup with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor as its primary camera. The secondary camera features a 5-megapixel sensor. The rear camera has features like Portrait, UltraShot, Nightscape, Pro Mode, AI Scene Detection, Panorama, HDR, Studio Lighting, Time-Lapse, and RAW Image. It runs on a 3,700 mAh battery which comes with 20W (5V/ 4A) fast charging.

OnePlus 7 Pro runs OxygenOS based on Android 9.0 Pie. It has a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display which supports HDR10+ and Netflix HDR streaming. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and the company claims it has received a A+ rating from DisplayMate. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, coupled with the Adreno 640 GPU and up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It will get two years of software updates, and 3 years of security updates. OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a triple rear camera setup which supports features like Portrait, UltraShot, Nightscape, Pro Mode, AI Scene Detection, Panorama, HDR, Studio Lighting, Time-Lapse, and RAW Image. On the front, it has a pop-up camera with 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor with 1-micron pixels, an f/2.0 aperture, and EIS. The OnePlus 7 Pro runs on a 4,000mAh battery, with Warp Charge 30 fast charging (5V/ 6A) that's said to be 38 percent faster than previous generations.
