HMD Global launched its iconic feature phone Nokia 3310 in India on Tuesday and the release date of the phone that will be May 18.

Nokia 3310 which was priced at 49 Euros will be sold in India for Rs 3,310.

Nokia 3310 was expected to come to India by June but early this month the company announced its shipment plans.

Like the iconic version of the phone that was launched in 2000, the company has kept its design of the rounded edges. Nokia 3310 sports a curved screen window which the company said was for ‘readability in sunlight,’ and it also has new push buttons and a new UI with similarities to the original.

Nokia Series 30+ OS packs a 16MB storage and will support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). On the back the phone has a 2-megapixel camera with LED flash.

Along with FM radio the phone is bringing back its legendary game - Snakes 'with a little update,' the company said.

The 3310 will have a battery standby for up to a month which will be a 1200mAh battery that offers 22 hours of talk time.

“It comes with a long-lasting battery, so you can talk all day2, or leave the phone on standby for up to a month,” Nokia said.
