WhatsApp beta for Android 2.18.282

The Facebook-owned app recently submitted the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.18.282 through the Google Play Beta Program. WhatsApp is now working on to make 'Swipe to Reply' option available to users. This facility is not available yet, but the chat app is in working on to make this feature available to all users, according to wabetainfo.com.

Swipe to Reply feature was implemented years ago on WhatsApp for iOS. This allows users to quickly reply to messages with a gesture. The chat app had recently added 'tap and hold+type' feature to Android, but 'Swipe to Reply' would certainly be a better option.

The time when this feature will be made available for all is not known. Wabetainfo expects the feature to be "remotely" enables very soon.
