Motorola's new smartphone Moto G6 Plus was launched today in India after making its debut in Brazil in April 2018. The new Moto device will face still competition with smartphones like Nokia 6.1 Plus, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Xiaomi Mi A2, Xiaomi Poco F1, and Honor Play, because of its price at Rs 22,449, said a report. 
 
The Moto G6 Plus’ price in India has reportedly been fixed at Rs 22,499. The device is exclusively available on Amazon and at all the Moto Hub offline stores in the country. The Moto G6 Plus comes with good build quality, capable cameras at least on paper and stock Android, said TelecomTalk report, adding that the steeply priced smartphone flaunts a 5.7-inch Max Vision Full HD+ display on the front with 18:9 aspect ratio.
 
Like Moto G6, the G6 Plus has a glass back, besides having Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset, clubbed with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The new phone also sports a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB, and measures 8mm in thickness and measures 168 grams in weight, the report said.
 
Further, the Moto G6 Plus reportedly runs a stock version of Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, offering features like Moto Display and Night Mode. With repellent nano-coating inside and outside, the new device also has a USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack and comes in a single Indigo Black colour option.
 
The Moto G6 Plus also boasts of a 12MP primary shooter on the rear with f/1.7 aperture and Dual autofocus Pixel technology, along with a secondary 5MP depth sensor. According to the report, rear camera is capable of recording up to 4K Ultra HD videos, and the camera app has functionalities like time-lapse video, slow-motion video. 
 
The Moto G6 Plus flaunts a 16MP shooter, which is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps, besides other features including landmark recognition, object recognition, text scanner, portrait mode, spot colour, face filters, panorama and manual mode, TelecomTalk report added.
