Lenovo India on Monday will launch the second version of the Moto C Plus budget Android smartphone. The launch of the Motorola smartphone is expected to start at noon today at an even in New Delhi and will be live streaming the event.

Motorola's online sales partner Flipkart has already confirmed the availability of the Moto C from Tuesday 12 noon. It may also be available on offline channels like with the Moto C launched a few months earlier.

In terms of specifications the Moto C Plus comes with Android Nougat and has a 5 inch HD display. It is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core Cortex-A53 SoC processor.

It has 2GB RAM and has a 16GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

It also packs an 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12 micron pixels, autofocus, 71 degree field of view and an LED flash. The Moto C Plus' front camera is a 2 megapixel front-facing camera similar to the Moto C.

In terms of the battery it has 4000mAh battery, which is much larger than the 2350mAh battery of the Moto C.

In terms of connectivity options it has a Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM and 3G connectivity.

Finally, in terms of the pricing the Moto C Plus will be Rs 6,900. The Moto C, on the other hand, is a little cheaper at Rs 6,200.
