Huawei Smartwatch Watch GT: Finally, Huawei's much-awaited 'Watch GT' has been launched in India. The wearable smart device by Huawei promises to work for two weeks that too in just one charge. The smartwatch will compete against Apple Watch series 4 and Samsung Galaxy Watch Active. The Huawei Watch GT is compatible with both iOS and Android platforms via the Huawei Health app. It works on Huawei's own smartwatch OS — dubbed LiteOS, unlike other android smartwatches which work on Google WearOS.

The watch is smart enough to track your sleep, activity, heart rate, calories, steps etc. It has built-in daily activity reminder, features like calling, phone finder, text message, social media, calendar, email notifications, swimming coach and running coach modes etc. 

Huawei Watch GT Price:

The company has released the smartwatch in two variants, a classic one costs Rs 16,990, while a sports edition costs Rs 15,990. The company is also offering a free Huawei AM61 Bluetooth handsfree worth Rs 2,999 with the watch.

Huawei Watch GT Specifications:

It comes with a 1.39-inch 454×254 OLED touchscreen display that has a stainless steel and ceramic bezel design. The watch is coming in two editions: Classic and Sport, with the difference in their colours of crown and bundled strap.

The Classic edition of Watch GT comes with a stainless steel crown with Diamond Like Coating (DLC) and a leather strap. While the Sports variant comes with a black silicone strap and a pure black finish.

The USP of the watch is its battery which, according to Huawei can last for two weeks in single charge.

Huawei Watch GT Availablity:

Huawei's new smartwatch will go on sale at Amazon India, from 19th March onwards. The consumers will also get a free Huawei AM61 Bluetooth handsfree worth Rs 2,999 with the Watch GT.

Along with Watch GT, Huawei also launched the Band 3 Pro for Rs 4,699. An activity tracker band that has a built-in GPS tracker and an IR-based heart rate monitor. It has a 0.95-inch OLED touch screen with a battery backup up to 7 days on a single charge.

Besides these two products, the company unveiled its third entry-level wearable gadget, Band 3e in India. A basic fitness tracker can handle your sleep routine and track your activity both. The band will cost Rs 1,699 and its tracker is water resistant up to 50 meters. Though it does not have a heart rate tracker, its battery can work up to 14 days in a single charge.
