Huawei has launched its new smartwatch in India, days after introducing its mid-range smartphone Huawei Y9s. Called the Huawei Watch GT 2e, the smartwatch further expands company’s line up of smart products. The new smartwatch is an affordable offering from the company which will cost less than Huawei Watch GT 2, launched earlier.

Huawei Watch GT 2e will be available starting Friday for Rs 11,990 in India. The company rolled out several launch offers including no cost EMI for six months on both Amazon and Flipkart. The offer is applicable for purchases made between May 15 and May 28. If the watch is bought before May 21, you will also get free AM61 Bluetooth Earphones worth Rs 3,990.

The smartwatch features a 1.39-inch circular AMOLED display on a round dial with an integrated strap. It boasts of a stainless steel body and comes in four different color ways. These include the Graphite Black, Lava Red, Mint Green and Icy White. The strap is made of fluororubber,

Huawei Watch GT 2e comes with a total of 100 different workout modes and includes dedicated 15 professional workout modes. This includes 8 outdoor activities and 7 indoor activities. The battery life on the wearable is rated for up to two weeks. The smartwatch also supports SpO2 monitoring alongside heart rate monitoring and TruSleep 2.0. 

Earlier this week, the company had launched Huawei Freebuds 3 True Wireless Stereo Earbuds in India, giving an alternative to Android users at an aggressive price point. Claimed to be the world’s only open fit active noise cancellation earbuds, Huawei Freebuds 3 are priced at Rs 12,999. The earbuds use Huawei’s proprietary Kirin A1 chip which claims to offer superior sonics to the device, with outstanding digital sound processing techniques, and a fine-tuned high sensitivity driver to deliver spectacular music and voice reproduction.
