Chinese smartphone company Huawei has launched Honor 7s budget smartphone.  Honor 7s price has been kept at Rs 6,999 and it will compete with budget smartphones like Redmi 4, Xiaomi Redmi 5A, Infinix Smart 2, InFocus Vision 3, 10.or E, 10.or D2, Samsung Galaxy J2 Core and Moto E3 Power.

Honor 7s will be available exclusively through Flipkart starting from September 14.

The dual-SIM smartphone sports a 5.45-inch display with 1440X720 resolution. The phone has dedicated slots for two SIMs and one SD card. The screen to body ratio is 18:9 and is powered by 3,020mAh battery.  Honor claims that the device has a new technology with front smart power save and background power management system. 

The device features a quad-core MediaTek MT6739 chipset with four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.5 GHz. Honor 7s has a combination of 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, expandable up to 256GB. The smartphone is equipped with a 'fast focusing 13MP HD' rear camera with LED flashlight and 5MP front camera for selfies. The camera supports phase detection autofocus and 1920x1080 video recording.

The device runs on Android Oreo 8.1 with EMUI on top of it. The smartphone comes in three colours - blue, black and gold variants. 

The phone weighs around 142 grams and is 8.3 mm thick. However, the device doesn't sport a fingerprint sensor but its camera supports face detection.
