Honor is set to launch new products and expand its portfolio in Barcelona, Spain on February 24, despite GSMA cancelling the Mobile World Congress 2020 owing to the Coronavirus outbreak. The Chinese smartphone maker has announced that it will still hold a global launch event in Barcelona, as planned earlier, where it will unveil new products including the Honor MagicBook and the Honor 9X Pro.

The Honor MagicBook will mark the company's entry into the laptop category. The company is expected to launch more than one laptops as part of its Honor MagicBook series. The launch event will start at 18:30 CET (IST – 11 PM 24th Feb 2020) and will be live-streamed through the company's social media handles.

Honor believes that the new launches will further strengthen the brand’s 1+8+N strategy, an ecosystem that integrates one smartphone, eight categories of additional connected products and a wide range of third-party linked devices.

The Honor 9X Pro, meanwhile, is an upgraded model of the Honor 9X which was launched in India last month. The new smartphone will be the company's first HMS based smartphone with 7nm Kirin 810 Chipset. It will bring superior AI capabilities and reduce energy consumption. Moreover, the smartphone will offer the ultimate gaming experience backed by powerful performance.

To recall, the Honor 9X features a notch-less full-HD+ display and is powered by the Kirin 710F chipset in India. For optics, it has a dual rear camera with a  48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, you get a 32MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 lens. The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery and houses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
