The recently launched Honor 9X will go on sale for the first time in India, starting today via Flipkart. Honor's first 48-megapixel camera smartphone will start selling from 12 pm onwards through the e-commerce website. Launched last year in China, the smartphone is also the company's first handset with a pop-up front camera in India. Honor Magic Watch 2, Honor Band 5i and Honor Sport Bluetooth will also start selling from the same date but via Amazon.

The Honor 9X features a 16.7 cms (6.59-inch) FHD+ Full View display with 91% screen to body ratio. The smartphone comes in two colour options - Sapphire Blue and Midnight Black. Honor 9X is available with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM, both with 128GB of internal storage. Honor 9X price in India starts at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM variant while the 6GB variant will cost you Rs 16,999. However, the base model is available with a discount of Rs 1,000 on the first day of sale.

The smartphone is powered by Kirin 710F chipset with GPU Turbo 3.0 technology boost and a 4000mAh battery.

For optics, you get 48MP AI Triple Camera setup with 8MP Super Wide Angle lens for 120 degrees FOV and 2MP lens for depth recognition. On the front, there is a 16MP AI pop up selfie camera. Other AI features include AI handheld detection, AI light detection, AI processing for utmost clarity and AI video stabilization.

The customers will get an instant discount of 10 per cent for making the purchase through ICICI Bank credit card or Kotak Mahindra Debit and Credit cards between January 19 and January 22, 2020.

The consumers will also get a Jio recharge voucher of worth Rs 2,200 that can be redeemed in Rs 50 per recharge for 44 recharges and 125GB of additional data, redeemable as 5GB per recharge for 25 recharges. This Jio offer will be eligible on Rs 249 or Rs 349 recharge only.
