Lenovo-owned Motorola unveiled its much awaited fifth generation of the Moto series. The Moto G5 and G5 Plus was unveiled on Sunday at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona. It was launched at the price of Euro 199 (approximately Rs 14,000) and will start being sold by March.

Both the smartphones will come with a metal body design. The difference between the Moto G5 and the G5 Plus will be the size of the display. While the Moto G5 will come with a 5 inch display, the G5 Plus will come with a 5.2 inch display.

Other differences in the specifications include the processors. While the Moto G5 comes with a Snapdragon 430 processor, the Moto G5 Plus comes with a slightly faster Snapdragon 625 processor. The Moto G5 will only offer the 2GB or 3GB RAM options, but the Moto G5 Plus will come with 2GB, 3GB and 4GB variants.

In terms of internal storage too the Moto G5 Plus offers higher space of 32GB and 64GB internal storage, the G5 on the other hand has the lower 16GB and 32GB variants. Both offer extendable memory options via microSD card up to 128GB.

In terms of the battery the Moto G5 has a 2800mAh battery and G5 Plus comes with a little higher battery power of 3000mAh.

It will have a fingerprint sensor on the front panel.

Both the phones run on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The Moto G5 and G5 Plus will also get Google Assistant, a feature which is exclusively available on Google Pixel and Pixel XL.

In terms of the camera the G5 Plus features a 12 megapixel camera with dual autofocus pixels and Moto G5 will come along with a 13 megapixel rear camera.

In terms of price the Moto G5 starts at Euro 199 (about Rs 14,000) and the G5 Plus will be priced at $299 (about Rs 15,300).
