Google apps status page has also updated to confirm that they’ve received reports of issues related to Gmail. Users have taken to Twitter and DownDetector website to talk about the issues and highlight the problems they are facing with Google’s services, especially Gmail, used by millions of users worldwide.

Commenting on the issue, Google noted, “We’re investigating reports of an issue with Gmail. We will provide more information shortly.”

This is the second time in two months that Gmail has suffered such massive outage. In July this year, Google users had a harrowing time in India as Gmail services went down for hours. Users in India and in some other countries went to social media platforms complaining they were unable to access Gmail and other Google services.

“#gmail down looks like half of India and most of Japan. I'd estimate the US is worse but people are sleeping. @OANN is this a hacking?” a user tweeted.

“I m facing problem in gmail whats wrong going anyone tell #Gmail  from 1 hr i m trying but same happening,” another said.

Users have taken to Twitter to tweet about issues they are facing on Gmail. They are also posting memes on #Gmaildown.
