Infinix has been aggressively targetting the sub-Rs 10,000 segment in India and successfully launched the Smart 3 Plus and the S4 in India this year. Now, the Transsion Holdings’ brand is set to expand its portfolio with the launch of yet another smartphone priced less than Rs 10,000, Zee Business Online has learnt. The new smartphone will be a part of the 'Hot series' and has been teased by the company through its social media platforms. "Thoda extra is never Thoda in our country India! However, the post did not reveal the name of the smartphone, launch date and its price. But, we have learnt that the new smartphone which is a part of the Hot series will be launched next week and is priced at less than Rs 10,000. The second teaser posted by Infinix gives a glimpse of the device but the specifications can't be figured out. 

However, the leaks that we have, confirm that this would be a dual camera smartphone with LED flash at the back too. It will have an octa core processor which the company claims would give it extra power. Lastly, the smartphone will also have 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It will be interesting to see if the smartphone is launched in a single variant though. 

Infinix had recently launched the Hot 7 Pro - the latest smartphone in this series which, for the first time, offered 6GB RAM for less than Rs 10,000. The phone come with a 6.19” HD+ Notch display, a 4000mAh battery, and a 13MP f1.8 +2MP Rear and 13+2MP front camera setup with LED flashlight. The rear camera gotAuto Scene detection with 8 scene modes, including AI Portrait, AI HDR, AI Beauty, AI Bokeh, Night, Sports, Blue Sky and Text The phone is available on Flipkart in Midnight Black and Aqua Blue colour options.

The smartphone was priced at Rs 9,999 and the new smartphone will carry forward the legacy.
