Taking its fight against other telcos ahead, now Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited or BSNL offers unlimited voice calling benefits and 1.5GB data per day for 122 days under its revised Rs 666 prepaid plan. Dubbed as the  'Sixer 666', the Rs 666 prepaid plan was launched by BSNL in June 2017. It came after the state-owned telecom operator had introduced Rs 333 and Rs 444 prepaid plans. Initially, the validity of the this plan was 60 days. The original BSNL offer provided 2GB data per day under this plan but it was reduced to 1.5GB data per day last year.

The telecom operator had also increased the validity. It was offering unlimited voice calls, 1.5GB daily data, and 100 SMS messages per day for 129 days as part of this plan. But, the validity has now been reduced to just 122 days. The benefits, however, remain the same: unlimited voice calls, 1.5GB daily data, and 100 SMS per day.

Other benefits BSNL offers under this revised prepaid plan are unlimited local and STD calls to any circle, except Delhi and Mumbai.

The revised plan has already been confirmed for Andhra Pradesh and Kolkata sites. It also qualifies for BSNL's ongoing additional data offer that is valid until April 30. As part of this plan, BSNL offers 3.7GB data per day against the 1.5GB data that comes with the recharge. Once this data is consumed, the users get unlimited data access at 40Kbps speed.

Last week, BSNL had revised the Rs 349 prepaid plan to offer unlimited voice calls and 1GB data per day for 64 days along with 100 SMS messages per day throughout the validity. Earlier, the plan was offering unlimited voice calling benefits and 1GB data per day for 54 days.

After the revision, the plan aims to take on Reliance and Airtel. Jio's Rs 349 plan offers 1.5GB data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day for 70 days while Airtel offers identical voice calling and SMS benefits alongside 3GB data per day for 28 days under its Rs 349 plan.
