Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 specifications and features
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 comes in two variants - Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + LTE - just like the other Galaxy models. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) runs Android 9.0 Pie and features an 8-inch WXGA (1280x800 pixels) TFT display that has a 16:10 aspect ratio. It is powered by a quad-core SoC, paired with 2GB of RAM. The tablet gets 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB using microSD card.

On the back, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 comes with a 8-megapixel camera sensor, while on the front, it has a 2-megapixel camera sensor. There are also dual speakers for a stereophonic audio experience. The tablet also houses an accelerometer and an ambient light sensor. As mentioned above, the device is powered by a massive 5,100 mAh battery.

Both the variants of this new tablet are preloaded with a Kids Home mode that is claimed to offer a child-friendly interface. The mode can be enabled through the Quick Panel.

The tablet was first launched in the Thailand market earlier this year with S Pen support and an octa-core SoC. It measures 210x124.4x8mm. The Wi-Fi only model weighs 345 grams, while its LTE variant comes at 347 grams. The tablet will be able in two colour options: Black and Silver.
