Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 smartphone, which was launched late last month, is available exclusively on Flipkart for its third sale today. The ZenFone Max Pro M1, which challenges Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 Pro, has been launched as part of strategic partnership with Flipkart to a specific set of customers who shop online. Asus' new smartphone offers specifications for a premium mid-range smartphone that is expected to suit customers' demand, stated a BGR report. Flipkart reportedly stated that there are only limited stocks available for the sale.

According to BGR report, ZenFone Max Pro M1 comes in two variants of 3GB RAM model with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM model with 64GB storage. The 3GB RAM variant is expected to cost Rs 10,999, while 4GB RAM variant will be prices at Rs 12,999. The Taiwanese firm is reportedly planning to launch another variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage soon. 

On ZenFone Max Pro M1 purchase, Flipkart has offered complete mobile protection plan for Rs 499, while Vodafone subscribers will reportedly get value-added benefits worth Rs 3,200 and free Red Shield Device security for 2 years.

Asus's new smartphone boasts of features including a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and support for taller 18:9 aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset similar to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. The new Asus device coming in two storage variants of 3GB or 4GB of RAM along with 32GB or 64GB, is backed by expandable storage up to 2TB via dedicated SD card slot. The new phone, available in black and grey colour, will reportedly be backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery.

With a combination of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual camera module, ZenFone Max Pro M1 phone will also boast of primary 13-megapixel camera, which supports phase detection autofocus and dual-LED flash along with support for bokeh effect. It will also have 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash, the BGR report said.

Flaunting connectivity options like WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE, the new smartphone will run on Android 8.1 Oreo, thereby, become the first Asus smartphone to ditch its own Zen UI, the report said.
