The new teaser comes just days after the Taiwanese company announced the launch date of the Asus ZenFone 7. The new smartphone is likely to be accompanied by the higher end model that would be called the ZenFone 7 Pro.

Asus has posted a teaser video that gives a sneak peek at the design of the upcoming smartphone and suggests the presence of a motorised camera mechanism.

The teaser video was posted on the official Asus Deutschland account on Twitter. The video carries a phrase in German saying, “Flip Deine Welt.” This translates to “Flip your world” in English. Along with this, the caption carries a hashtag #FlipDeineWelt to emphasise the camera setup that is likely to be similar to that of the ZenFone 6, which debuted in India as the Asus 6Z.

Here is what to expect?

The company is expected to launch the ZenFone 7 Pro alongside the standard model. Qualcomm confirmed the existence of its Snapdragon 865 SoC on the ZenFone 7. However, the ZenFone 7 Pro will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC – the chipset which was used for Asus ROG Phone 3. The smartphone is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery capacity with support for 30W fast charging via USB-C. This was discovered through its certification by the TÜV Rheinland entity.

The Asus ZenFone 7 launch is set for August 26. Last year, the Asus 6Z was launched in India in the first half. However, this year the company changed its strategy by launching the ROG phone before the ZenFone model.
