The latest flagship by Taiwan-based electronics company Asus - the Asus 6Z - will go on sale in India for the first time today. Launched last week in the country, the smartphone will be available via e-commerce platform Flipkart, starting 12 pm (noon). The company has already confirmed that Asus 6Z, a rebranded version of Asus ZenFone 6, will only be available through Flipkart in India and will not be sold through any other medium as of now. The smartphone takes on the Honor 20, the OnePlus 7 and the Oppo Reno in the Indian market.

The smartphone will be available in two colour options - Midnight Black and Twilight Silver. The highlights of Asus 6Z include a 6.4-inch full-HD+ screen, a rotating dual camera module, and octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. In fact, this is the first smartphone to come with a motorised camera module. 

Asus 6Z price in India and launch offers 

The Asus 6Z price in India starts at Rs 31,999 for the base variant with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants of the phone would cost you Rs 34,999 and Rs 39,999, respectively. As mentioned above, the phone can be purchased via Flipkart. 

As part of the launch offers, Flipkart is giving its Complete Mobile Protection plan at just Rs 99 to the Asus 6Z buyers. Also, the customers can get 5 percent instant discount with EMIs on ICICI Bank Debit or Credit cards or 5 percent discount with Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card.

Asus 6Z features and specifications

The Asus 6Z comes with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080x2340 pixels) IPS screen and is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. It runs Android 9 Pie with Zen UI 6. The smartphone has a flip camera module with a dual camera setup. The primary camera has a 48-megapixel sensor with f/1.79 aperture and a 13-megapixel secondary ultra-wide-angle camera. The phone is powered by  5,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 4.0.
