Apple WWDC 2019 keynote: Even though the iPhones are unlikely to make an appearance during the five-day Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2019, they will feature in most discussions as Apple reveals all its major software-focussed developments for 2019. The Apple WWDC 2019 begins later today i.e. June 3 with company CEO Tim Cook along with other important faces taking part in the keynote presentation scheduled to take place at McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California. The Apple fans would be eagerly waiting for announcements on iOS 13 and macOS 10.15.

The WWDC 2019 keynote will start at 10 am PDT in the US. This means it would start at around 10:30 am IST. Just like the previous editions of the conference, this one will also be live streamed on WWDC's official website as well as app. The live streaming will also be available on Apple TV. If you own an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or a Mac machine with Safari installed, you can watch the WWDC 2019 keynote live stream on the official Apple Events website. 

Windows users can watch the WWDC keynote live through the Microsoft Edge browser. The Android users can follow the event using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browsers.

Apple WWDC 2019: What to expect

The major announcement could be on iOS 13. Various reports suggest that the new operating system might come with a dedicated system-wide Dark Mode and various UI tweaks and enhancements. It is also expected to introduced many updated apps like the Reminders app and 'the Find' apps. The keyboard too is expected to receive support for swipe typing, similar to how it works on Google's Gboard or Swype keyboard.

The OS will change the home screen for iPads and will also ehnace users' multitasking experience. The iOS 13 is expected to be released in September along with the new iPhones but it could be made available for early developer previews to give a glimpse at all the major features. It has been reported that the new OS will not be compatible with old iPhone models like the iPhone, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone SE and the iPhone 5s.

Apart from this, Apple could also announce macOS 10.15, the next-generation platform which will bring support for iPad apps. New features can also be announced for the Apple Watch line up.
