Reports suggest that Apple may not stick to its plans of launching the new iPhone series in September. Traditionally, the company unveils its new series in September and the smartphones are made available for purchase a few days later.

However, the company couldn't stick to its schedule during the launch of the iPhone 12 as well. But the delay at that time was because of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.

This year too, the launch is expected to be delayed by a few weeks. Reports suggest that the smartphone will hit the market only in October this time.

Bank of America (BoA) analyst Wamsi Mohan, who accessed supply chain audits, has hinted that the launch is likely to be pushed to the fourth quarter of the year. However, Mohan has not specified the exact reason for this expected delay.

Meanwhile, there are reports suggesting that Apple is facing issues related to the availability of displays of some iPhone models. As a result, two models - iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max - will likely be available in limited numbers at the launch.

Mohan had made accurate predictions about the delay in the launch of the iPhone 12 in 2020.

Meanwhile, reports have emerged that this time Apple is likely to come up with massive battery backup and many other new features.

According to leaks, the iPhone 15 will be powered by a 3,877mAh battery while iPhone 15 Plus will come with a 4,912mAh battery. The iPhone 15 Pro will have a 3,650mAh battery and a 4,852mAh battery will power the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
