Amazon has announced the next generation of Kindle Paperwhite with two new models that is the all-new Kindle Paperwhite and the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition.

Starting at Rs 13,999, Kindle Paperwhite comes with a larger display, a new adjustable warm light, and increased battery life, while the new Signature Edition adds an auto-adjusting light sensor and is the first-ever Kindle to offer wireless charging.

Pre-orders have been started from September 21, 2021 with Kindle Paperwhite shipping from October 27 and Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition shipping from November 4.

Also, both the devices come with the offer to redeem Kindle credits worth Rs 500 which can be used towards eBook purchases, at up to 80 percent of the book price.

1. Larger Display:

The all-new Kindle Paperwhite combines a larger 6.8-inch display with smaller 10mm bezels on a sleek, flush-front design. The 300 ppi display is glare-free, delivers laser-quality text, and resembles real paper for easy reading in all conditions, even direct sunlight. The display also offers an additional 10 percent brightness at the maximum setting and the adjustable warm light and a white-on-black dark mode.

Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition also comes with an auto-adjusting front light that automatically adjusts the brightness of the display based on the lighting around you.

2. Battery: 

The all-new Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition offer the longest battery life with up to 10 weeks of battery life. Fast USB-C charging takes only 2.5 hours to reach a full charge to maximize reading time when using a 10W adapter or larger. Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is the first Kindle to offer wireless charging and can be used with any compatible Qi wireless charger (sold separately).

With an IPx8 rating, the all-new Kindle Paperwhite is designed to withstand accidental drops in the bathtub, hot tub, pool, and ocean. Also, Kindle Paperwhite has 8 GB standard storage while Signature Edition has 32 GB of storage.
