Amazon has launched its new plug-in smart speaker, Echo Flex in India on Wednesday morning. The speaker saves space by plugging directly into a standard electrical outlet. This means that you don't need wires to run this Echo device which is standard for other Amazon smart speakers. Priced at Rs 2,999 in India, the Amazon Echo Flex has a built-in USB-A port so you can easily charge your phone (7.5W) or other devices, all while using only one outlet.

Just like other Echo devices, you can connect the Echo Flex to your preferred speakers using Bluetooth or a 3.5 mm audio cable for a higher audio output.

“We are happy to introduce Echo Flex for users in India to access Alexa even more conveniently now from any room in the house. Our customers are looking for more options on where they can place Echo devices across their homes. We heard them,” said Parag Gupta, Head of Amazon Devices.

Echo Flex is available for pre-order starting today and will ship next month. It joins Echo Dot, Echo, Echo Plus, Echo Show, Echo Show 5, Echo Studio, and companion Echo devices (Echo Sub, Echo Link and Echo Link Amp) to create the Echo family of devices.
