Amazon launches new Kindle Oasis with price starting at 21,999
Amazon on Tuesday announced the all-new Kindle Oasis, featuring companys best Paperwhite display ever, including a large 7-inch, 300ppi screen with a new colour adjustable front light.

The light allows users to customise the colour tone from cool to warm to easily transition from daytime to a comfortable nighttime reading experience. "The all-new Kindle Oasis with a color adjustable front light will help users to read with a warmer tone when reading during the day or night, indoor or outdoor," Parag Gupta, Head of Amazon Devices, India said in a blog post.
The new Kindle Oasis comes with next generation of e-ink technology for fast page turns. It features a thin and light ergonomic design for one-handed reading, and dedicated page turn buttons. The Kindle Oasis is designed to withstand accidental drops and splashes, whether you’re reading in the bath tub, hot tub, or pool. It is IPX8 rated to protect against immersion in up to two meters of fresh water for up to 60 minutes.
Like all Kindle devices, you can read for weeks on a single charge with the all-new Kindle Oasis so there’s no need to pack another charger in your suitcase.
The device has been launched in two different variants. While the 8GB Wi-Fi variant of the 10th generation Kindle Oasis is priced at Rs 21,999, the 32GB Wi-Fi and 4G variant of the device is priced at Rs 28,999. The newly launched Kindle Oasis will be available in subtle Graphite and jazzy Champagne Gold colour variants and it will go on sale in India starting August 19.
As part of the launch offer, Amazon is offering three months of Kindle Unlimited at Rs 2 to all 10th generation Kindle Oasis users. After three months, users will be able to access millions of books in Amazon's library via Kindle Unlimited for just Rs 169 per month. Also, the customers who pre-order the device will get 100 per cent off (up to Rs 500) on the purchase of any one e-Book.
The Prime members will get access to hundreds of eligible eBooks, comics, etc at no additional cost.
