WhatsApp is regularly updating its application with amazing new features for its users. Some of the recent new features unveiled by the Facebook-owned WhatsApp would be stickers, swipe reply, labeling forward, private chats and many more. Hence, to ensure that users are making most of the newly launched features, the social media app has taken a very strict move. This time, if you do not update your WhatsApp, by next week on ward, you might not see your history data, images and chats. In short, your account will be wiped of every old important details you hold in WhatsApp. The warning has been wailing around for quite sometime, if  you remember reports way back in August month have been mentioned that, WhatsApp had said a statement that soon the people who fail to update their application will lose their data. To your horror, today WhatsApp has officially announced that news.

This means only that data will be saved, which was backed up and rest will be deleted. 

This is courtesy a deal between WhatsApp and Google and it will save only that data which was not properly saved in the .  

The app confirmed its prior announcement that, as of Monday, any users who have not backed up their stored data and chats on Google Drive will lose their chat histories.

Adding more WhatsApp warned that any backups that hadn`t been updated in over a year would also be automiCloud Driveatically removed from the Google Drive storage.

No its not a sudden news, This speculation was already done in the month of August. It's the last chance to save your precious moments, details and memories.

If you failed to do so below are the details of how to stop WhatsApp deleting old photos, text messages from your Drive:  
1. Open up your Whatsapp and go on to the top right icon which gives ''Settings'' option 
2. Click the 2nd option "chats"
3. Select the second last option  - "Chat backup"
4. Sign into iCloud - put it ''On''
5. Repeat this with “WhatsApp” tab  
6.  Backup your data! Not so fast! You will need to head back to WhatsApp and go through the first 3 steps again and then only will you be able to successfully complete the process. 
   
This process will save all your important chats, pictures, video, voice message documents that are important for you.

In a bid to improve the chatting experience, Facebook-owned WhatsApp has rolled out stickers feature to help users share feelings that can't be expressed in words.
