Xiaomi hasn't announced the 12 Pro's India launch date yet, but a picture posted by Manu Jain, suggests the smartphone could debut in India on April 12 (calendar on the table has the date marked). It's unclear if the 12 Pro will be joined by the vanilla 12 and 12X or Xiaomi will skip them in India.

Xiaomi 12 Pro features a 6.73-inch E5 AMOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sample rate. The smartphone uses a 10-bit panel with a resolution of 3,200×1,440 pixels. It is also powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

The mobile phone runs Google’s Android 12 operating system with the company’s latest MIUI 13 skin on top. All of this is backed by a 4,600mAh battery with support for 120W wired, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

The smartphone features a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens and a 50MP ultrawide angle sensor. At the front, it features a 32MP sensor for taking selfies. The premium Xiaomi 12 Pro costs $999 (around Rs 76,300) for the 8GB/256GB storage version in China. It is expected to come in same price bracket in India as well.
