Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge launch: The global smartphone brand Xiaomi is all set to launch its upcoming Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge smartphone in India on January 6 during a virtual event. Ahead of the official launch, Xiaomi Global Vice President Manu Kumar Jain teased the processor of Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge phone is said to be among the first smartphones in India to feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset. HyperCharge has already been teased to feature a 120Hz AMOLED display with 1,200 nits of peak brightness. MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC is a 6nm SoC that packs one set each of Arm Cortex-A78 and Arm Cortex-A55 CPU cores with the former clocked at 2.5GHz and the latter at 2.0GHz.

According to the BGR India report, the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge will be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and come packed with the same set of specifications. Redmi Note 11 Pro+ in China comes packed with a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The display includes a hole punch that includes a 16MP image sensor for selfies and video calls.

On the rear panel, the smartphone includes a triple rear camera system that consists of a 108MP primary camera coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone is backed by a 4500mAh battery paired with up to 120W fast charging out-of-the-box.
