In a bid to gain more users in the mid-segment smartphone market in India, the Chinese smartphone maker Vivo announced the launch of a new 5G smartphone under the V series --  Vivo V21e 5G in the country during the live virtual event. The smartphone comes with big features including the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, a 6.44 inch AMOLED FullView display, and 32MP front camera.

The smartphone comes in two color options -- Sunset Jazz and Dark Pearl. The Vivo V21e 5G will be priced at Rs 24,990 (8GB+128GB) sole storage model. The device will go on sale starting today simultaneously on mainline retail partners, Vivo India E-store, Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm, Tatacliq, and Bajaj EMI Store.

Vivo is offering flat Rs. 2,500 cashback with HDFC credit and debit cards on full swipe as well as EMI transactions. This offer is valid till  June 30 only on the Vivo India store. Customers can also get one Amazon voucher worth Rs. 1,000 on their purchase.

Vivo V21e 5G Specifications: 

The V21e features a 6.44 inch AMOLED FullView display to support a superior visual experience. Built with perfection, the V21e measures as thin as 7.67mm only. Powering the V21e is the MediaTek Dimensity 700, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM (Expandable up to 1TB). The device is backed by 4,000mAh (TYP) battery and supports 44W FlashCharge.

Perfect for nighttime shooting, V21e’s 32MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture allows for greater light exposure even in low or dim lighting. On the rear side of  Vivo V21e 5G, the 64MP AF rear camera allows users to capture high-quality videos, while the 8MP ultra-wide-angle offers a high-depth view of the surroundings.

The rear camera of V21e also comes with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) that elevates the image quality. Even in fast-moving or bumpy conditions, it helps to build greater stabilization through software algorithms without the need for additional hardware. Video quality is also significantly improved for handheld shots, the company said.
