Smartphone brand Vivo on Thursday announced an official price cut on the Vivo V21 5G series in India. Both Vivo V21 and V21e will be available for a discounted price. The V21e’s 8GB + 128GB storage option will be available for Rs 23,990.

Vivo has officially dropped the price of the V21 series in India. Starting from V21 5G and V21e 5G, the smartphones will be available at Rs. 27,990, Rs. 30,990 and Rs 23,990, respectively, the company said.

The smartphone features a 6.44-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2404×1080 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Vivo V21 5G is backed by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor with an embedded 5G modem paired with an ARM Mali-G57 MP3 GPU. The smartphone comes with 8GB of RAM along with 128GB/256GB of internal storage.

The Vivo V21 5G features a triple camera setup on the back consisting of a 64MP primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) support paired with an 8MP wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro lens.  On the front, the device features a 44MP sensor located inside the waterdrop-style notch to take selfies.

The device runs Google’s latest Android 11 operating system with the company’s own Funtouch OS 11.1 skin on top. It is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.

The V21e 5G, on the other hand, has a dual-camera setup on the back. It comes with a 64MP main camera sensor and an 8MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, the phone has a 32MP front camera. The device sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, the phone has a Dimensity 700 chipset with 8GB of RAM. There is 128GB of internal storage. The phone packs a 4000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging. Both devices run Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11.1 out of the box.
