Smartphone brand Sony has silently launched its new smartphone - Xperia 10 III Lite in the Japanese market. The smartphone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 chipset, a huge 4,500mAh battery, and triple rear cameras. The smartphone will be available in White, Blue, Black, and Pink colour options.

The new Sony Xperia 10 III Lite is priced at JPY 46,800 (roughly Rs. 31,600) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model. The sale of the Sony Xperia 10 III will start from August 27 via Rakuten Mobile and other retailers in Japan. The company didn't reveal any information on India availability.

The new Sony Xperia 10 III Lite sports a 6-inch OLED display with an FHD+ resolution. The smartphone has an aspect ratio of 21:9 and supports HDR. Upfront, it has an 8MP camera for selfies. On the rear side, the smartphone has a triple camera system. It has a 12MP primary lens, an 8MP telephoto lens, and lastly an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor.

Under the hood, the Sony Xperia 10 III Lite is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC. The major difference between the Lite model and the original Xperia 10 III is the storage. The Lite is limited to 64GB of onboard storage and has 6GB of RAM.

The smartphone packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging technology. The Sony Xperia 10 III Lite is IP68 dust and water-resistant and has eSIM functionality. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and measures 154x68x8.3mm. The weight of the Sony Xperia 10 III Lite is about 169 grams and connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.1, USB Type-C port, 5G, and more.
