Samsung Galaxy A14 5G launch: The South Korean tech giant Samsung is planning to launch its upcoming affordable Galaxy A14 5G smartphone soon. The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A14 5G smartphone is expected to come with a U-shaped notch display. The device is expected to come with a 6.8-inch LCD with a Full HD+ resolution (2,408 x 1,080 pixels).

"The Galaxy A14 5G has received Bluetooth SIG certification, which brings it one step closer to its official launch, according to SamMobile. Galaxy A14 5G is likely to feature a triple-camera setup on the rear, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. Previous renders had revealed that the phone might only come in plain black colour, but the tech giant is expected to launch it in more colours. The battery capacity of the upcoming smartphone is likely to be 5,000 mAh. It is likely to feature a 50MP primary camera. The dimensions of the new device are rumoured to be 167.7 x 78.7 x 9.3mm.

In a listing, the A14 5G carries the model numbers SM-A146U, SM-A146VL, SM-A146W, SM-A146U, SM-A146U1/DS, SM-A146P, SM-A146P/N, SM-A146P/DSN. "All the model numbers should be different models for different markets: Canada, South Korea and the US," the report said. 

Meanwhiel, Samsung India has announced the top three winners of the inaugural edition of Solve for Tomorrow in India-- a national education and innovation competition that aims to support youth from around the country wanting to solve real life issues and transform people’s lives with their innovative ideas. The top three winning teams – Sputnik Brain, Udaan, and Alpha Monitor – get a total grant of Rs 1 crore and a 6-month incubation by the Foundation for Innovation & Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT Delhi, to strengthen their prototypes, and seek real-world consumer validation for their products and services.

Each of the winning teams received a certificate and a beautiful Solve for Tomorrow trophy that is inspired by the program logo and expresses boldness and aspiration. Each team member also received exciting Samsung products – a Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 laptop and Samsung Galaxy Buds 2. The winning teams also got an 85-inch Samsung Flip interactive digital board each for their respective school or college.
