Redmi, a sub brand of Xiaomi, on Wednesday announced the launch of its new budget mobile phoner -- Redmi 10A in the Indian market. The smartphone comes with MediaTek processor, 6.53-inch HD + display, and more. It is available in Shadow Black, Smoke Blue and Moonlight Silver colour options.

The smartphone comes in two variant 3GB+32GB variant is priced at Rs 8,499 and the 4GB+164GB variant is priced at Rs 9,499. Its first sale is scheduled for at 12 PM on April 26 and can be purchased from either Mi website Mi Homes, Amazon and official retail partners.

In terms of specifications, Redmi 10A comes with a 6.53-inch HD + display with 1600×720 pixel resolution in Redmi 10A. This display comes with 20: 9 and 400 nits' peak brightness. It is powered by MediaTek Helio G25 SoC and is equipped with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage.

For photography, There's a a 13MP camera with LED flash at the rear side. This camera comes with Xiaomi’s AI Camera 5.0. Also, the phone has a 5MP front camera for selfies. It comes with a 5000mAh battery and supports 10W charging. It runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android. For connectivity, the company is giving options like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 5.0, GPS, Micro USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack in this phone.

The smartphone maker also announced the Redmi 10 Power. It will be available in India with a 6.71-inch display, 6000mAh battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, and 8GB of RAM with 3GB of virtual RAM expansion along with a 50MP camera setup at the rear.
