We used 4GB+64GB (Wi-Fi + 4G) variant in Real Gold for more than two weeks and here's what I have to say about this newly launched tablet from Realme.

In its first attempt, I can say that the Realme Pad tablet is quite promising. Why because pricing it's looking quite good and the specs aren't bad either. Available at affordable rates, the Realme Pad at this price point ensures immediate attraction from potential buyers in India, especially if you're a student. The major USP of this tablet is that it is also backed by powerful features. This newly launched Realme Pad is designed in such a way that even after playing games, watching web series, and doing multiple tasks, the tablet kept working smoothly and it was a lag-free experience. The Realme Pad feels quite compact, even with its 10.4-inch display. The good thing is that the Realme Pad is an extremely lightweight tablet, easy to carry and one can hold it in hands for long hours comfortably. Its front is all glass while its rear is all metal. The back panel looks beautiful and shiny as well. The device is very slim (6.9mm) and weighs just 440grams. The Realme Pad looks and looks quite premium and modern with its rounded corners and flat sides.

On the right side of the tablet, the Realme Pad houses a sim-tray option and the volume rockers and on the top, you will find a dedicated space for the power button.  At the bottom, the device features Type-C USB charging port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and the Dolby Atmos loudspeaker which is loud and worked very well during the review period. In fact, Realme Pad comes with four dynamic speakers that are powered by Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio technologies. There are also dual microphones to enable noise cancellation during video calls and while attending online conferences. Connectivity options on the Realme Pad include USB Type-C, WLAN: 2.4/5GHz, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth: 5.0, Navigation, GPS/AGPS and Glonass. Sensors on the tablet include Light Sensor, Acceleration Sensor, Hall Sensor, Gyro-meter and more.

Realme Pad also features an 8MP ultra-wide-angle front camera that takes clear and bright selfies and features a 105-degree ultra-wide-angle letting users capture more of their surroundings when they take a selfie or attend video conferences. In fact, 8MP rear camera in Realme Pad captured some good pictures. The rear camera shoots reasonably detailed images. The tablet is quite good for your video calls, office meetings, and more.

Realme Pad comes with a 10.4-inches WUXGA+ (Widescreen Ultra eXtended Graphics Array Plus) full screen, up to 2000×1200 pixels screen resolution, and a screen-to-body ratio of 82.5 percent, proving users a more immersive viewing experience and crystal-clear details. There's a punch-hole camera in the top center of the display. The screen size is good and comfortable. While reviewing this device, the colors came out good on the screen. It was easy to easy use. In fact, our viewing and gaming experience was pretty good. The tablet t also features ‘Smart Connect’ which allows users to use their Realme Band or Watch to unlock Realme Pad instantly, and through ‘Nearby Share’ allows users' phones and tablets to share the files and images immediately.

Another USP of the tablet is -- Realme Pad is backed by a powerful MediaTek Helio G80 gaming processor, the most powerful chipset in the segment, providing strong performance and takes gaming to the next level. Realme Pad comes with the brand new Realme UI for Pad based on Android 11. While watch movies and web series on several OTT platforms including Zee5 and Netflix and playing games like Temple Run, Subway Surfers, and other games, and performing regular tasks like switching between the apps, this tablet didn't lag and worked smoothly. The overall viewing and gaming experience was fine and lag-free.

In terms of battery performance, Realme Pad is backed by a massive 7100mAh mega battery, which ensures that you can do your work for hours without worrying about frequent charging. On less than normal usage, this Realme tablet lasted for more than two days on a single charge. However, the battery of Realme Pad drained very fast on heavy usage and gaming. But you don't have to worry because Realme Pad is also equipped with an 18W quick charge, the fastest charging in the segment, for quickly recharging and supports reverse charging too.

Realme Pad review: Verdict - Available in the budget range, the Realme Pad is quite promising and it is designed to meet the demands of budget tablet users in India, especially students. This newly launched tablet from Realme will give you a premium feel with its impressive design. The device is a good performer that offers many features at a decent price range.
