"Mastering innovation and leading the charge towards the video revolution, OPPO, a leading global smart device brand is all geared up to launch their videography expert, Reno5 Pro 5G, in the Indian market on 18th January 2021. The Reno5 Pro 5G will be the first power-packed smartphone in India to be powered by industry-first AI Highlight Video feature combined with MediaTek’s flagship level chipset- Dimensity 1000+," a company statement said.

As per the company, "The OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G will be the first device in India, to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ which comes with a 5G-integrated chipset. The chipset offers an unrivaled combination of 5G connectivity, multimedia, videography, and imaging innovations. It also enhances the video quality, making it the perfect combination for Reno5 Pro 5G. It further supports AINR and HDR that enable low noise and high dynamic range for extreme low-light photography and videos. The chipset comes with a 7nm process, that offers industry-leading performance and extremely low power consumption."

Also, company says, "Based on this technology, the industry first AI Highlight Video feature in the OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G, takes portrait video quality a couple of notches higher. Aimed at delivering clear and bright videos in all lighting conditions, the AI Highlight Video feature automatically detects the light levels in a scene and intelligently enhances video quality through Ultra Night Video and Live HDR algorithm. During low light and dark light conditions such as city nightscapes, light shows, and lit fountains- the Ultra Night Video algorithm automatically brightens the scene. While the Live HDR algorithm detects and engages with the backlit scenes like bright neon city lights, to reduce overexposed areas. Together, both the algorithms help make infinite clear videos with better exposure, clarity, brightness, and natural colors."
