OnePlus on Wednesday launched its new flagship-level OnePlus 8T – a successor to this year's OnePlus 8. The smartphone will run Oxygen OS 11 on top of Android 11 and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chipset, instead of the more powerful Snapdragon 865+. The OnePlus 8t is as heavy as 188grams. It will be one of the first devices to run Android 11 right away. It will have customisable Always-on display, Bitmoji, live wallpaper and group zen mode.

The new OnePlus 8T price in India has been set at Rs 42,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model will cost you Rs 45,999. 

The OnePlus 8T comes with a new finish which will prevent ugly fingerprint from registering on the back panel. The smartphone features a quad-camera system settles on the rectangular camera module. The consists of a 48MP primary camera, 16MP ultra-wide with 123-degree field of view, 5MP macro camera and 2MP monochrome camera. OnePlus 8T camera can automatically switch to Nightscape mode. 

OnePlus 8T features a Full HD+ 120hz display that the company claims offers stunning visuals and exceptional gaming performance. The smartphone also comes with a flat display instead of curved design. The flat display has an A+ rating from DisplayMate.  

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor instead of the latest Snapdragon 865+. It is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It has a 285 per cent larger vapor chamber for better gaming performance. The smartphone comes with dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.  

OnePlus 8T packs a 4,500 mAh battery which supports 65W Warp Charge. OnePlus claims it can get a full day's charge in just 15 minutes. 

OnePlus Nord new variant 

Meanwhile, OnePlus has also launched a new variant for the OnePlus Nor. Called 'Gray Ash', the new colour option of the phone will be available in 12GB+256GB storage variant and will go on sale on Amazon at Rs 29,999.
