Motorola will soon launch its Razr 40 series mobile phones in India. The smartphone maker recently launched the Moto Razr 40 and Moto Razr 40 Ultra flip phones in China. Now these phones are expected to enter the Indian market.

Motorola, on Twitter, shared a teaser hinting at the imminent launch of its new foldable phones in India. “A FLIPin’ awesome gift awaits. Coming to India,” the caption read. The manufacturer also updated its official website in India but did not unveil the phone. However, the website says that the phones will have the “highest-resolution smartphone camera”.  

Display

The Moto Razr 40, which has been unveiled globally, is an ultra-compact and lightweight flip phone with a 6.9 inch Poled primary display having 144 Hz refresh rate. The cover display is smaller at 1.5 inch with 60 Hz panel.

On the other hand, the Razr 40 Ultra is Motorola’s flagship phone which too has a 6.9 inch Poled primary screen but with a higher refresh rate of 165 Hz. The primary display has a FullHD+ resolution while the cover display is 3.6 inch in size with 144 Hz refresh rate. The resolution of the cover screen is 1,066x1,056 pixels.

Camera

Coming to the camera, the Razr 40 Ultra is equipped with a 12 MP primary camera and a 13 MP ultrawide lens. It also gets a 32 MP selfie camera.  Motorola has given its Razr 40 the same 32 MP camera as the Ultra along with a 13 MP ultrawide camera and 64 MP primary camera.

Processor

The Moto Razr 40 Ultra has the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC while the Razr 40 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chip.

Battery

In terms of battery, the flagship Razr 40 Ultra comes with a 3,800 mAH battery while the Razr 40 gets a 4,200 mAH battery. Both the phones support 30W charging.
