Lenovo-owned smartphone brand Motorola on Friday announced that its newly launched Motorola Edge 30 Pro mobile phone is all set to go on its first sale in India today at 12 pm on e-commerce platform Flipkart. The device comes with top-end features including Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor, 50MP triple rear camera setup, a 60MP selfie camera and more.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is launched in India at Rs 44,999. It offers 8GB RAM  and 128GB  internal storage. In terms of colours, the smartphone will be available in Cosmos Blue and Stardust White colour variants.

The Motorola Edge 30 Pro features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) pOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, and DCI-P3 colour space and runs Android 12.  The display is also protected by a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with anti-fingerprint coating.

The smartphone comes with flagship-level Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, along with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM. It comes with a triple rear camera setup that houses a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and an omni-directional phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) as well as optical image stabilisation (OIS). The camera setup also includes a 50MP ultra-wide shooter and a 2MP depth sensor.

The company has paired the triple camera setup with a dual-LED flash and it also supports up to 8K video recording at 24fps. It also has support for slow-motion full-HD (1080p) video recording at up to 960fps frame rate. For selfies and video chats, it carries a 60MP selfie camera sensor in the front with an f/2.2 lens.

Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and a proximity sensor. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
