Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3 pre-booking: In good news for Samsung fans in India, the South Korean smartphone company Samsung has announced that customers in India can now pre-reserve the upcoming Galaxy flagship smartphones by paying a token amount of Rs. 2,000 on Samsung India's e-Store or Samsung Shop App.

Samsung will be launching its next-generation foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, on August 11 at its Galaxy unpacked virtual event. The event will be live-streamed on Samsung Newsroom India and Samsung.com starting 7:30 p.m. IST. Those who're interested in buying new foldable premium smartphones from Samsung can reserve their pre-booking for Rs. 2,000.

"Over the past year, mobile technology has taken center stage in everyday life as more and more people are working from and spending time at home. The accelerated transition to a mobile-first world brings with it the need for devices that can transform everyday life into an extraordinary experience," the company said.

Samsung will unveil visionary and purposeful mobile technology with a focus on open ecosystems that will accelerate innovation and give people more freedom to create their own experiences, the smartphone brand had said. "We will unleash our latest and greatest Galaxy Z series to reshape the smartphone category and completely reimagine your experiences," TM Roh, President & Head of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics, had said in a statement.

Hinting at the launch of two new foldable smartphones on August 11, Dr Roh has said that Z Fold will combine the very best that smartphones and tablets offer, while the Z Flip will exhibit an even more refined style, armed with more durable, stronger materials.

"We are out to set new heights and open up a whole new world of exciting experiences for even more people. I hope you’ll join us as we debut our next Galaxy Z family and share some foldable surprises — including the first-ever S Pen designed specifically for foldable phones," he added.
