The iPhone SE (2020) launched back in April 2020 and the AirPods Pro launched a few months earlier than it, in October 2019.

The iPhone SE (2020) was basically an iPhone 11 with some compromises put inside of the body of an iPhone 8. Since then, many have speculated that Apple will be launching a ‘Plus’ or a follow up variant, which will reuse the body of the iPhone 8 Plus, the bgr.in reported.

The iPhone SE (2020) did well and made a connection with the people with a small form factor, a 4.7-inch display with the missed Touch ID sensor and a cheaper price tag.

According to bgr.in, It could prove to be difficult for Apple to recreate this for the 2021 variant of the device, as the people wanting a smaller phone can now also get the iPhone 12 Mini, which has much better specifications than the iPhone SE (2020) and a modern design.

The original SE was launched in 2016 with its follow up launching four years after in 2020. Apple users have to wait and see what the company has planned for its budget smartphone series. As for the AirPods Pro 2, it is not yet final if if Apple will launch these or will it bring out a cheaper and lite version.

Also, according to a report from the news agency IANS, South Korean tech giant Samsung is reportedly going to be the exclusive supplier of OLED panels used in two top-end iPhone 13 models later this year.

Both models of iPhone 13 will use low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) thin-film transistors (TFT) OLED panels made by Samsung Display, South Korean website The Elec reported.
