"According to GSMArena, Apple is TSMC's top customer, and the company ships chips to Pegatron in China, where iPhones are assembled. And US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan has put an even bigger strain on the China-Taiwan relationship," IANS reported.

As a result, the CCP has come up with new regulations forbidding any mention of "Taiwan" or "Republic of China" in shipping documents. This, in turn, means that some, if not all, of the hardware, could be returned to Taiwan and delay the iPhone 14 production as a result, the report said.

There are no announcements on the pricing of the Apple iPhone 14 series as well. The US-based tech giant will reveal information regarding the price of the four models during the grand launch event. However, a report from MacRumors has revealed that the rising component costs and Apple’s determination to differentiate Pro and non-Pro iPhones, will see the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max increase to $1099 and $1199 respectively. Also, the iPhone 14 may cost around $899, iPhone 14 Max at $999.

Apple iPhone 14 camera specifications

As per MacRumors, while the rear cameras usually get all the love and attention with every new iPhone, the front camera for the iPhone 14 will get a major boost in image quality and capabilities. The selfie camera in the iPhone 14 series is said to be a "high-end" camera system that will have autofocus capacities and a wider ƒ/1.9 aperture compared to the ƒ/2.2 aperture in the current iPhone 13.

The wider aperture paired with autofocus would allow more light to pass through the lens, resulting in overall better quality and improved low-light photography. The autofocus would also help with portrait photos, resulting in crisper and sharper bokeh and detail with the subject, the report added.
