Apple iPhone 14 launch: Apple is set to launch iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, Apple Watches and other products on September 7 at the Apple Far Out event at  its Cupertino campus in the US. The US-based technology giant is also streaming the launch event online on all its social media platforms and website including Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. The Apple Far Out event in India will start from 10:30 PM IST. Ahead of the launch, a new report has revealed that the basic iPhone 14 model might will be available in - Green, Purple, Blue, Black, White, Red and Purple colour options.

Apple iPhone 14: Price, offers, sale date, pre-booking (Expected)

Apple iPhone 14 is likely to be priced below Rs 80,000 in India for the basic variant. MacRumors report said that Apple iPhone 14 Pro will be $1,099 (around Rs 87,838.12) whereas the iPhone 14 Pro Max will cost $1,199 (around Rs 95,830.67). However, the price of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will rise to $1099 and $1199, respectively, due to increased component costs and Apple's drive to separate Pro and non-Pro iPhones. The iPhone 14 Series will be made available for pre-booking from September 9. At the same time, the sale of this series will start on September 16, the report added

Apple iPhone 14 specifications 

In terms of specifications,  the iPhone Pro models will be powered by the A16 Bionic chipset and the non-Pro models will retain the A15 chip. Apple`s upcoming iPhone 14 lineup may come with its long-rumoured satellite communication feature that is likely to be used in emergency situations for texting or voice services. The MacRumors report said: "According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, satellite communication is one of iPhone 14`s test items before mass production, and Apple had completed hardware tests for this feature. iPhone 14`s satellite communication mainly provides emergency texting and voice services.  The tech giant had already completed the hardware development of satellite communication in the iPhone 13. However, the report mentioned that the lack of support was because the business model had not been negotiated. He also mentioned that the operator most likely to partner with Apple for satellite communication is Globalstar.
