Apple Watch Ultra 2 launched at Rs 65k - Check features and specs
Ultra 2 joins Series 9 in the lineup, plus the 2nd Generation Apple Watch SE. SE is also carbon neutral when paired with a sport loop.
Apple introduced Watch Ultra 2 during its 'Wonderlust' event on Tuesday. According to the company, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 will be powered by the new S9 SiP. Just like the Watch Series 9, the Ultra 2 smartwatch will have the Double Tap feature, on-display Siri, and Ultra Wideband.
However, the Ultra 2 smartwatch will come with 3,000 nits on the display - much higher than the 2,000 nits display of the Watch Series 9. Also, it will have the new Modular Ultra display and has been tested from -500 meters to +9000 meters.
In terms of battery backup, the Ultra 2 can last for 36 hours in general usage and 72 hours in low-power mode.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 Price
The price of the Ultra 2 is $799 or Rs 65,000 approx. The smartwatch will be available in stores beginning September 22.
Meanwhile, Apple also introduced the next generation of Apple Watch i.e. Apple Watch Series 9. It can detect fingers touching together or double-tap gestures and comes with an S9 SiP chip. Also, it has a brighter display, faster on-device Siri with the ability to access and log health data, Precision Finding for iPhone and more features. While the price of the Apple Watch Series 9 starts at Rs 41,900, the Apple Watch SE starts at Rs 29,900.
Apple Watch Series 9 is available in two sizes i.e. 41mm and 45mm sizes. The smartwatch will be available in starlight, midnight, silver, red, and a new pink aluminium case, as well as stainless steel in gold, silver, and graphite cases.
On the other hand, Apple Watch SE is available in 40mm and 44mm aluminium cases.
Apple Watch Series 9 is powered by custom Apple silicon in the all-new S9 SiP.
Apple Watch Series 9 has an edge-to-edge always-on Retina display and offers up to 2000 nits of peak brightness. This is two times brighter than Series 8. Also, it can go down to 1 nit of brightness, for use in theatres or at night.
