"We're adding the ability to share your screen during a video call on WhatsApp," Zuckerberg said in a post on Facebook

This feature will let you share documents for work, allows you to browse photos with family, plan a vacation or shop online with friends and much more.

WhatsApp is one of the most popular instant messaging platforms with over 2.7 billion people monthly users. It has been adding a lot of features to stay relevant to users. The screen-sharing feature introduced by Meta will now put the platform directly against popular video-calling apps like Google Meet and Zoom. Screen sharing has been one of the most used features during group meetings.
