WhatsApp latest update: The Meta-owned messaging application WhatsApp is working on multiple new features for iOS and Android users around the globe. Now, a new report has claimed that the WhatsApp is now rolling out avatars for some lucky beta testers for Android.

"Thanks to avatars, you can personalize your identity by setting up a digital expression within WhatsApp Settings. With WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.23.9 update, some lucky beta testers are finally able to set up an avatar," WaBetaInfo, a website tracks WhatsApp, said in its report. 

According to the report, the meta-owned messaging application WhatsApp will automatically create new sticker pack after configuring an avatar so you can share stickers with your friends and family. In addition, you can also choose an avatar to use as your profile photo on WhatsApp. 

If you’re looking for a way to discover if the feature is available for your WhatsApp account, you need to open WhatsApp Settings:  Since this feature has just been released to some users, you may experience some small issues when configuring an avatar: in this case, please keep trying until you’ve configured the best appearance for your avatar.

The ability to set up an avatar has been released to some lucky beta testers after installing the latest update of WhatsApp beta for Android from the Play Store. As per the report,  users will be able to configure an avatar over the coming weeks.

Also, WhatsApp is working on multiple new features to provide better experience to the users on its platform. Now, WhatsApp has reportedly released the ability to create a link to join a call to some iOS users. Last month, the popular messaging app released the same update to some android beta users. However, due to some reasons, it was disabled for all android and iOS users.
