WABeta Info, a website that tracks all the latest developments on WhatsApp, recently took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote: "WhatsApp is NOT developing a third blue check to detect screenshots: it's fake news."

At present, the messaging application uses two ticks to inform the sender that a message has been delivered to the intended receiver. These ticks turn Blue once the receiver has read a particular message.

Meanwhile, a new report suggested that WhatsApp users may soon be getting a new feature that will help them locate nearby businesses with ease. According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp could get a new section called Businesses Nearby.

WhatsApp is developing a functionality that will let users easily search for businesses nearby by filtering them using a new interface. The feature will be helpful for users to search for hotels, groceries, apparel and clothing, among others.

Here's how: When you search for something within WhatsApp, there will be a new section called 'Businesses Nearby' When you select the category, the results of business accounts will be filtered based on your choice.

For example:  When you select any of the categories from this section such as “Restaurants”, “Chemists” and more, the related results of business accounts based on your location will pop-up.
