WhatsApp Message Edit Option Alert: WhatsApp, one of the most popular instant messaging apps, has been making several changes to make the platform more convenient for users. After introducing a feature to delete sent messages, the Meta-owned company is now reportedly working on a feature that will let users edit sent messages. According to the report, the feature is expected to be available in the iOS beta.

The report suggests that users will have a window of at least around 15 minutes to edit their messages. The feature will be helpful as users can fix any mistake or include any additional information in the original message.

The new feature will give users up to 15 minutes to edit their messages to fix any mistake or include any additional information to the original message, reports WABetaInfo.

The report said that the feature is currently under development and is not ready to be released to beta testers.

The report also added that the company may bring some edit options for photo captions as well in a future update of the application. This will allow users to edit media captions even after sending it.

Meanwhile, earlier this week it was reported that the instant messaging platform will soon allow users to send images with high quality in iOS beta. The company is still developing the feature.

While image dimensions will be preserved under the new option, light compression will still be applied to the picture.
