The Facebook-owned WhatsApp made an announcement through micro-blogging platform Twitter. "Photos and videos in WhatsApp are now even bigger, so no one will be left out of the picture! That's the perfect reason to smile," the company wrote from Twitter.

The new WhatsApp update, version 2.21.80, now allows you to get a bigger preview of photos and videos in a chat window. This allows for convenient usage without the need for you to tap on the shared media and view it separately. The feature was announced previously for iOS and has now reached all WhatsApp users (both Android and iOS).

Apart from this, there’s something for Disappearing Messages too. Now, every person involved in a WhatsApp group can change the disappearing message settings by default. They no longer need an admin to do so. However, the WhatsApp group admins still have control over the feature by changing the ‘Edit Group Info’ settings to take things into their hands.

The new WhatsApp update has started rolling out for users to access these new changes. Also, WhatsApp is now adding support for the ability to preview your voice notes on WhatsApp for iOS before sending them to users.

The latest leak reveals that the messaging platform is working on adding support for the ability to review voice notes before sending them to users. This feature is currently being tested for WhatsApp for iOS users only.

Users should note that the messaging platform usually rolls out new features first to iOS and then followed by Android. The voice note review feature has been revealed by WABetaInfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp.

The upcoming voice note review feature will allow users to record a voice note and then hear the message before they send it. The leak reveals that the company will add a new “Review” button for users. If the recorded voice note has something wrong, users will be able to discard it and repeat the process of recording the voice note all over again.
