WhatsApp Call Links feature: Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta-owned instant messaging application WhatApp, on Monday announced the roll out of a new Call Links feature. According to the Zuckerberg, WhatsApp Call Links will make easier to start and join a call in just one tap.

"We're rolling out call links on WhatsApp starting this week so you can share a link to start a call with a single tap. We're also testing secure encrypted video calling for up to 32 people. More coming soon," Zuckerberg wrote in a post. 

WhatsApp Call Links feature

According to the company, users can tap the ‘Call Links’ option within the Calls Tab and create a link for an audio or video call and share it easily with family and friends. Users will need the latest version of the app to use Call Links and the rollout begins this week. An image of the feature is attached for reference.

WhatsApp is also testing secure encrypted video calling for up to 32 people, said Zuckerberg.

In related news, WhatsApp is reportedly planning to bring a new feature that will allow users to add a caption to any document they share using the WhatsApp. The instant messaging Platform will   add a caption feature to the document sharing option.

According to the WabetaInfo, a website that tracks WhatsApp's developing and upcoming features, the future updated version of WhatsApp will soon have a feature for sharing documents with a caption. While WhatsApp allows sharing a document at present, it doesn't provide an option to write a caption to the document.
