In good news for gamers around the world, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, PUBG mobile developers are working on a new game mode that will revamp the ‘Sanhok’ map. The developers have introduced a new LABS mode titled ‘Challenger Battle Royale’. PUBG Labs is the developers’ experimental system to try out new game modes and features before making it live globally.

According to a report from Insidesport, Challenger Battle Royale features the same classic PUBG fans adore so much but with a dark twist. There is a limited on-screen user interface (UI) to intensify immersion. More emphasis is on the stealth experience with an eerie night setting. The mini-map, compass, ammo, kill feed and alive player counter have been disabled, which means, players will have to rely on their experience and knowledge of the map, and skills.

Luckily, a flare gun fires throughout the game, lighting up the sky and the map bright red. Also, the blue zone will start closing one of the flare fires thrice. The new mode is currently available in the Sanhok map, the medium-sized lush jungle map, the report said.

Also, in some bad news for some gamers, PUBG mobile developers have shown no mercy to cheaters and hackers. In a massive crackdown, PUBG has suspended over 1 million accounts - PUBG has banned 1,110,842 accounts permanently. The intention is to stop any kind of hacking or cheating attempts to ensure the rest of the community does not have to carry the burden. 

Recently, PUBG Mobile took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote: Don't get caught on the wrong side of the #BanPan Cooking from March 5th-11th, we permanently banned 1,110,842 accounts from accessing our game. The majority of reasons include:Cross mark Auto-Aim Hacks, Cross mark Speed Hacks and Cross mark X-Ray Vision."
