Meanwhile in a recent development, PUBG Mobile revealed that it has banned 16,91,944 accounts for cheating and related issues. Immensely popular among the world gaming fraternity, the Battle Royale game sees participants of the game resorting to cheating to one-up the competition. 

"The #BanPan strikes again! From March 28th through April 1st, we permanently banned 1,691,949 accounts from accessing our game," posted PUBG on Twitter. 

Earlier too, PUBG Mobile had banned 1,110,842 accounts permanently from accessing the game. 

A vast majority of these accounts have been banned for using Auto-Aim Hacks and X-Ray Vision. 

Maximum account has been banned in The Bronze category. Ban in the bonze category accounted for 35 per cent of the accounts that have been permanently banned from accessing the immensely popular game. Next was diamond category, which contributed 13 per cent in the accounts that were banned in the recent crackdown by PUBG.  CRown (12 %), platinum 11 per cent, silver 11 per cent, gold 9 per cent, Ace 8 per cent and conqueror 1 per cent also saw ban.  

Earlier as per Verge, Krafton announced that PUBG Lite will shut down by the end of this month (April 29). New downloads were shut down on March 30. 

On the other side, there is also something to cheer about PUBG Mobile India fans. According to a Zee Media Bureau report, which quoted GodNixon, also known as Luv Sharma, a popular PUBG Mobile content creator, has come up with a claim that the Indian government has approved PUBG Mobile India, finally. Do note that there is no official word anywhere on this as yet and as such, the ban on PUBG Mobile remains till further notice.
